Food Traditions
K4 - 3rd grade
Learning Objectives

Each class began with a word web to activate previous knowledge and a student driven discussion.
At the conclusion of this learning segment students will be able to articulate that all living things need food, that sharing food brings people together, and that differences in food traditions between cultures should be celebrated. Students will be able to create 2 and 3D representations of food through combining shapes and adding details. Students will make connections between the foods that inspire their artwork and their food traditions.
